Operation and Display Panel
The operation LCD panel, includes one RGB LED ring, four touchable function keys and a LCD display to indicate the operating status and input/output power information.
Touchable Function Keys
Please follow below steps to implement battery connection:
1: 5.6KW model supports 48VDC system. Connect all battery packs as below chart. It is recommend to connect minimum of 100Ah capacity battery for 3.6KW model and 200Ah capacity battery for 5.6KW model.
2: Prepare four battery wires for 3.6KW model and two or four battery wires for 5.6KW model depending on cable size (refer to recommended cable size table). Apply ring terminals to your battery wires and secure it to the battery terminal block with the bolts properly tightened. Refer to battery cable size for torque value. Make sure polarity at both the battery and the inverter is correctly connected and ring terminals are secured to the battery terminals.
PV Module Selection:
When selecting proper PV modules, please be sure to consider the following parameters:
1. Open circuit Voltage (Voc) of PV modules not to exceeds maximum PV array open circuit voltage of the
inverter.
2. Open circuit Voltage (Voc) of PV modules should be higher than the start-up voltage

The Wi-Fi Operation Guide
The major functions of this APP:
Delivers device status during normal operation.
Allows to configure device setting after installation.
Notifies users when a warning or alarm occurs.
Allows users to query inverter history data.
Wi-Fi module can enable wireless communication between off-grid inverters and monitoring platform. Users have complete and remote monitoring and controlling experience for inverters when combining Wi-Fi module with SmartESS APP, available for both iOS and Android based device. All data loggers and parameters are saved in iCloud.

Please scan the following QR code with your smart phone and download SmartESS App.Or you may find “SmartESS” app from the Apple® Store or “SmartESS” in Google® Play Store.Operating system requirement for your smart phone:iOS system supports iOS 9.0 and above Android system supports Android 5.0 and above
Connect your phone to the inverter Wi-Fi Module
Open your phone WLAN, select the name of the inverter Wi-Fi module and connect it (Initial password: 12345678), the name of the Wi-Fi module is same as the PN number on the label of the remove LCD box
Connect the SmartEss APP to your home Wi-Fi
Open the SmartEss APP, tap the Wi-Fi configuration button to enter next page, tap Network Setting button to enter next page. Then tap the Wi-Fi icon on the right side of the Router Name column to select your home Wi-Fi name, and enter the password, the inverter Wi-Fi module will restart, please wait until the restarting finishes.
Reconnect your phone to your home Wi-Fi
Open your phone WLAN, select the name of your home Wi-Fi (the example name is Sunmart WiFi 01) and connect it.
Create Account and Add Datalogger
Open the SmartEss APP, tap the Register button to enter the register page. Tap the scan icon on the right side of the first column to scan the QR code of PN number on the label of the Wi-Fi module to input the PN number, input user name, password, email address, phone number, and tap the user agreement and Register button to create an account.
Input the user name and password to login the account, click the added WiFi module to check the data of inverter.
